We visited the companies Polimetal Ruedas, in San Luis, and FUNDEMAP, in Santa Fe, as part of our technical visit service for clients. The objective was to review the current use of X-ray equipment and advise on improvements to make the most of the equipment.
Technical visits are a fundamental pillar of AMS Advanced Machine Systems' relationship with its clients, since they allow them to maximize the benefits of the equipment in their production line. On this occasion we worked on the ZEISS Bosello Thunder III and ZEISS Bosello SRE equipment.
HeBosello Thunder IIIIt is a fluoroscopy equipment designed especially for the inspection of light alloy wheels, with 160 kV X-ray sources and a maximum downtime between the inspection of 2 wheels of 2.5 seconds. It is a high-speed in-line system designed for 2D X-ray defect detection, ensuring reliable inspection of all tires produced, accurately identifying and evaluating critical defects in accordance with specified requirements.
For his part, theBosello SREis a multipurpose fluoroscopy equipment equipped with X-ray sources from 160KV to 450KV, presenting a customizable solution for all defect detection needs in the production environment. It has an automatic CNC positioner, inspection control and a 3-axis rotary table with 360° mobility, ideal for robust parts and no limit on the number of programs allowed, with unlimited positions.
ZEISS equipment provides solutions for production in a variety of sectors: Polimetal Ruedas is a company specialized in aluminum automotive wheels, while FUNDEMAP is a supplier of cast parts for agriculture and automotive, among other industries.
