The seminar on 3D printing in the automotive industry was successfully held

Last Wednesday, August 31, the Stratasys 3D printing seminar focused on the automotive industry was held in the Transfer Plaza of the Universidad Austral. Mr. Loren Kairis, automotive applications specialist at Stratasys USA, spoke at the event.

The event covered topics related to:

  • Extractive and Additive Manufacturing, similarity and differences in their processes.
  • 3D Printing Concepts, Stratasys products in FDM technologies.
  • Industrial applications: Automotive – Auto parts: Molds and matrices.
  • Success stories. Focus on Automotive Industry.
  • Inspection and optical dimensional control. Reverse Engineering, construction of 3D models. Zeiss Comet, T-scan and ABIS equipment.
  • There was a presentation of examples and samples in FDM and Polyjet technologies.
  • These instances are part of the hard work that AMS technicians and collaborators carry out in commitment to technical training and education.
