AMS Advanced Machine Systems, Foundry Ariente and Carl Zeiss made Argentina the first country in Latin America to have the most advanced technology in Metro 3D Computed Tomography.
Thanks to the acquisition of the Zeiss Volumax 1500 equipment, brought to the country by AMS, Foundry Ariente now has the possibility of analyzing cast parts in aluminum, polymers and other materials. In this way you can obtain dimensional values for quality control as well as their internal structure, for an exhaustive analysis of the size, quantity and concentration of pores, cracks and other anomalies that can be detected with this type of X-ray technology, allowing more strict controls.
AMS provided the necessary support locally in the procurement, implementation, installation, training and technical support phases.
Additionally, during the month of March of this year, Fundación Ariente and AMS participated in a training course for the use of Metro Tomography equipment at the ZEISS headquarters in Germany. On behalf of Foundry Ariente, its director, Pablo Albert, and technicians Carlos Tomacelli and Enrique Moyano participated, along with Sergio Cavaliere, Product Manager at AMS. In the training they were able to draw on the knowledge of the most experienced specialists in the world on this technology, to provide training in the use of the tomograph and its software.
