The President of AMS, Aldo Di Federico spoke within the framework of the TECH DAY at the FIAT Córdoba plant.
The exhibition under the title «Unify additive and extractive processes for the good of Manufacturing. Relationship between Quality Control and Industry 4.0 in both processes" had knowledge about:
- CNC Extractive Manufacturing, process concept, auxiliary means, statistical control applied to manufacturing and productivity.
- Additive Technology, 3D printing concepts, technologies for Polymers and Metals. Solutions with FDM process description, differences between technologies. Application to design, prototypes, final parts and devices in the Automotive Industry. Real-time prints of speed box mechanism casings were made, printing that allows: product analysis, definition of the aluminum injection process, machining and manufacturing process, functionality of the devices on the speed box assembly line. They did this with the teams that raised F170 / COMET / Replicator.
- Quality Control on the Plant Floor Measurement with CNC equipment on the plant floor, its technical characteristics, comprehensive management in line with Industry 4.0 Metro Tomography; scanning, measurement, reverse engineering, reports.
