Part of the AMS team attended the first international training on automated optical control technologies. The activity took place at the Carl Zeiss offices in Ohringen, Germany, the headquarters that centralizes the development and implementation of these technologies and their application to the quality control of body parts.
In the course we worked on AI Max sensors from Carl Zeiss. Carl Zeiss optical sensors have full automation of the control and inspection system of 100% of the parts produced, in considerably shorter times than traditional technologies without sacrificing precision in the process. This type of in-line inspection systems are part of the Zeiss portfolio in body measurement, completing the process with the correlation of the information in the metrology room where the information loop is audited and closed to achieve high quality and total control over process fluctuations, faithful to the ZEISS style.
