The first ZEISS O-Inspect 322 equipment in Peru was installed at INACAL (National Quality Institute) and is operational, contributing to raising certification standards in that country.
AMS, supporting the representative Carl Zeiss of Peru, Andes Technology, carried out the certification of the ZEISS O-Inspect 322 and provided training to INACAL personnel.
Present were Jannet Carrasco Tuesta (Head of the Metrology Laboratory), José Ramírez and Daniel Cano working on the new machine, along with Sergio Cavaliere (Product and Applications Manager – AMS / ZEISS) who served as instructor.
The O-Inspect 322 equipment allows both optical and tactile measurements to be made alternately and indiscriminately, with worldwide reference uncertainty values, in both sensors close to the order of 2.4 microns.”
