Last Friday, August 11, AMS participated in the Seminar on Cutting Tools organized by Iscar Tools Argentina.
With a wide audience, Iscar Tools Argentina technicians reviewed concepts about Cutting Tools, applications, calculations and technical recommendations in their audience.
AMS Advanced Machine Systems, through the presence of Aldo Di Federico, reported on three solutions that allow maximizing the performance of the tools and obtaining greater productivity in the extractive manufacturing processes carried out by Argentine industrialists.
- Presetting of cutting tools with Zoller technology, obtaining improvements in set-up time/tool performance/quality of parts obtained.
- Tool Balancing at high RPM, with Haimer, for spindles. Process productivity with high tool performance.
- Measurement on the plant floor and metrology room with Carl Zeiss 3D measuring machines, identifying the Cp/Cpk process capacity and ensuring quality.
The day included a visit to the engineering and plant areas, where the exhaustive quality control over the production of Iscar's special tools is monitored with Contura equipment from Carl Zeiss, Venturion from Zoller, TD2009 from Haimer and Genius from Zoller.
