Preventive maintenance

For the maintenance of Carl Zeiss measuring machines the following preventive and corrective actions are carried out:

Standard task list aligned with the legacy AMS site.

Removal of the X-axis floor-level covers. Removal of the Z-axis carriage covers and the Y-axis arm covers.
Cleaning of the foundation interior (not applicable to SMM-DSE and SMM-RDS).
Cleaning and lubrication of the X/Y/Z axis guides.
Cleaning of the X/Y/Z axis measurement scales.
Check and possible adjustment of the X/Y/Z axis scale readers.
Check of the wiring and chain condition of the X/Y/Z axes.
Lubrication of the X/Y/Z axis cable carrier chains.
Check of the X/Y/Z axis drive condition.
Cleaning of the X/Y/Z drive wheel and traction surface.
Cleaning of the rubber bands and sweeping brushes of the X axis.
Check and lubrication of the counterweight cable.
Check and lubrication of the pulleys.
